Exciting news! The Ocean Star Museum is now open 5 days a week!
We are open Thursday through Monday, from 10am to 5pm with the last tickets sold at 4pm (closed Tuesday/Wednesday).
Face masks are still required for everyone above the age of 4 and we are still following state and local safety protocols regarding COVID-19 closely.
We remain grateful to the public for their patience and are looking forward to seeing everyone!

About Us
The Oilfield Energy Center is based in Houston, the world’s energy capital. The Ocean Star Offshore Drilling Rig Museum and Education Center is docked at Pier 19 in Galveston, less than an hour from downtown Houston, which makes it a wonderful showcase in a perfect location for an “offshore” experience.
