Andrew Gould 

Andrew Gould became Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Schlumberger Limited in February 2003. He previously held the positions of President, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, Schlumberger Oilfield Services, President of Wireline and Testing, President of Sedco-Forex, and Treasurer of Schlumberger Limited. A director on the boards of Schlumberger Limited and Rio Tinto plc., Mr. Gould was Vice Chair of the National Petroleum Council’s landmark 2007 report for the US Secretary of Energy entitled “Facing the Hard Truths About Energy.” He serves on advisory boards for Imperial College, London, and King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Mr. Gould joined Schlumberger in 1975 in Paris after working for Ernst & Young where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
