With this outstanding TEKS-aligned program, students will learn the awesome science behind offshore energy. Students will engage in science, technology and social studies TEKS objectives as they study the rock and carbon cycles, petroleum and natural gas, offshore drilling, environmental issues and careers in the offshore energy industry. This curriculum comes alive with exciting photos and graphics!

Participating teachers will receive a classroom subscription to Tuesday - Friday and Sunday's eEdition of the Houston Chronicle from February 8–13, 2011, plus access to download the Earth’s Energy curriculum guide. A classroom subscription includes one license per student or permission to share the electronic newspaper with students in that teacher’s classroom only.
